This project was a special one for our team at Guaranteed Electrical, completed in partnership with Auckland Council and our iwi, Ngāti Whātua o Kaipara. We were privileged to work alongside our own hapū to help bring Parakai a beautiful new reserve that the community can enjoy for years to come.

The project was led by GreenSceneNZ Landscapes Ltd as the main contractor, with Kotahi Projects overseeing site planning and coordination on behalf of Auckland Council and the iwi. It was our first time working with this team, and their professionalism and collaboration made the process seamless.

Although much of our mahi is hidden underground, this project required the installation of hundreds of metres of mains cabling beneath the reserve. These networks provide reliable power for the new toilet facilities, BBQ areas, and future infrastructure needs. Careful planning and execution ensured the electrical systems were installed discreetly while meeting all compliance and safety standards.
